Sri Lanka 7 day itinerary

Sri Lanka was the first multi‑stop itinerary I ever took back in 2012, and returning in 2025 felt like coming full circle — reconnecting with a country that’s as beautiful as it is deeply spiritual. It has everything: ancient temples, astonishing natural landscapes, wildlife, warm and generous people, and some great beaches.  If you’re looking for a trip that feels rich, restorative, and full of meaning even in a limited window, this guide shows you exactly how to experience the best of Sri Lanka with comfort, authenticity, and ease.

My 7‑day itinerary is intentionally short, but it’s easy to extend; whether you want extra time on Sri Lanka’s coastline or something truly special, with the Maldives just an hour’s flight away.

The ultimate Andalucía itinerary (7 to 14 days)

Andalucía is one of those rare trips that feels unmistakably, irresistibly Spanish — a journey filled with colour, warmth, and absolute delights with no filler at all. This was one of my most memorable multi‑stop routes: a sun‑drenched blend of Moorish architecture, soulful plazas, world‑class food, and that slow Andalusian rhythm that stays with you long after you’ve left. You can do it in as little as 7 nights or stretch it to 14 depending on the pace you want, but either way it delivers maximum richness with comfort, authenticity, and beautifully balanced days. This is my ultimate guide to experiencing the very best of Andalucía.

Rome to Amalfi Coast itinerary (7 days)

The journey from Rome through Naples to the Amalfi Coast is one of those rare itineraries that feels effortlessly romantic — perfect for a honeymoon, anniversary, or any milestone trip where you want beauty, ease, and a touch of magic. It blends ancient history with vibrant city energy, coastal glamour with world‑class food, and that unmistakable Italian warmth that makes everything feel special. If you want a short, memorable route that delivers maximum impact without rushing, this itinerary shows you exactly how to experience the best of Rome, Naples, and the Amalfi Coast with comfort, authenticity, and a little bit of sparkle.

Positano, Italy - staying at the edge of town can be more relaxed and affordable

3 week Southeast Asia itinerary

Three weeks in Southeast Asia is absolutely one for the bucket list — a rare chance to experience countries so rich in culture, spirituality, food, and natural beauty that every stop feels unforgettable. This itinerary packs a serious punch: elephants in ethical sanctuaries, sacred temples at sunrise, lantern‑lit evenings, deep cultural experiences, and even Cambodia’s extraordinary hero‑rats. It’s the kind of trip that stays with you for years, and honestly, it’s worth bargaining with whoever you need to in order to get the time off work. If you want comfort without excess, authenticity without overwhelm, and a journey that feels genuinely transformative, this 21‑day route delivers all of it.

Greece 10 day itinerary

Greece is a country I’ve been travelling to for 25 years, and there’s nowhere else quite like it — a place where history, food, landscape, and spirit come together in a way that feels both grounding and deeply alive. This 10‑day itinerary brings together some of my favourite experiences from a quarter‑century of visits: sun‑drenched islands, ancient sites, slow meals by the water, and that unmistakable Greek warmth that makes you feel instantly at home. If you want comfort without excess, authenticity without overwhelm, and a route that captures the magic of Greece in a short window, this guide shows you exactly how to do it.

Croatia 10 day itinerary

Another unforgettable 10 days, but this time in Croatia, a country that feels like it was made for slow, sensory travel. Think medieval cities, turquoise water, island‑hopping, fresh seafood, and that effortless Adriatic rhythm that makes everything feel lighter. This 10 day itinerary brings together the very best of the coast and the islands, with beautifully paced days that balance culture, nature, and pure relaxation.

Mexico City and Oaxaca (7 days)

Mexico City and Oaxaca in seven days is definitely a more jam‑packed itinerary — but it’s also one of the most vibrant, fun, and unforgettable trips I’ve ever taken. I did this route for my 40th birthday, and it was full of epic moments: the National Museum of Anthropology, which is hands down the best museum I’ve ever visited; Frida Kahlo’s house, rich with colour and emotion; and the incredible city of Oaxaca, with its food, culture, and the ancient wonder of Monte Albán just beyond. If you want a week that feels alive, meaningful, and full of stories you’ll be telling for years, this itinerary delivers it in spades.

North Wales itinerary (5 days)

North Wales is the part of the world where I grew up, and the older I get, the more I realise just how exceptional it is — wild coastlines, dramatic mountains, ancient castles, and that unmistakable Welsh warmth that makes everything feel rooted and real. This 5‑day itinerary is my guide to getting the most out of this beautiful corner of the UK in a short window, with a route that balances scenery, culture, and the kind of grounding moments that stay with you long after you’ve left.

Final thoughts

Whether you’re craving culture, food, nature, or a deeper sense of connection, each of these itineraries is shaped by lived experience and a belief that travel should feel meaningful, not stressful. They’re designed for people who value travel as an important part of their lives; travellers who want authentic experiences within their limited annual leave, who have the means to make a trip special, but no desire to spend excessively. Wherever you choose to go next, I hope these routes help you travel in a way that feels enriching, memorable, and genuinely restorative.
